I have been attending events and participating in work experience to aid me in my future career.
I attended the BVExpo at the Excel centre where I attended seminars on cinemtography and lighting as well as development within 4K cinema. I was also able to interact with leading industry brands such as Avid, Panasonic and Canon. I was able to work on equipment such as the Arri Alexa, Motorised crane and camera drones.
It was an incredible day that gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation for getting stuck in to the industry.
I also attended a workshop at the Raindance festival on the Power of Lighting where I learnt all about the principles of lighting in coordination with cinematography.

MOET BRITISH INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS - DECEMBER 2012
I took part in some work experience working with an ITV set, working in coordination with several areas within the tv industry.
Engagement with the industry.
I worked on a public information film titled 'Body Image Project: The Party' for The Succeed Foundation surrounding the issues of eating disorders. I worked as a lighting technician and Assistant Producer. This was my first industry experience working to a brief to create a film for a client and was an invaluable introduction into industry work.
