As I'm currently still training, my present career plan is, in effect, to gather as much experience as I can within the industry.
I will aim to work in a number of roles, in a large range scale of projects, from working as a runner in features, to roles higher up such as assistant producers etc. in smaller projects.
I also aim to work on my own films, developing my skills in each specialist field to get an understanding of working in your own production company, as this is essentially where I would like to end up.

The ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment is essential, as is the flexibility to cope with a varied workload, attention to detail and a good understanding of production, film and video processes.
Key to the role will be an ability to shoot and edit to brand guidelines and deadlines, as well as video editing expertise with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut. You will also have experience of shooting, lighting and working with various video cameras. Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe After Effects would be desirable, but not essential.
